Posted by Sinks on 27th Jun 2017

A charity walker is planning to carry everything including the kitchen sink during an 84-mile sponsored walk, it has been revealed.Paul Cocoran, a former soldier, will have the sink strapped to his rucksack when he walks the length of Hadrians Wall from the Solway Firth to Wallsend, GazetteLive.co.uk reported.Mr Cocoran, 50, is aiming to raise money for The Rifles Care for Casualties appeal which was launched in response to the high number of casualties the regiment has suffered in Afghanistan and Iraq.I racked my brains to see what I could do that was different, he told the website. I came up with the idea after reading a book about a man who travelled around Ireland with a fridge.I went to BQ and said If I carry one of your kitchen sinks on my back will you sponsor me? Mr Cocoran, who is being sponsored by a store in Stockton-On-Tees, is setting off on August 7th and hopes to complete the walk in two days.ADNFCR-1321-ID-19898970-ADNFCR
