A recently-closed landmark restaurant in the US has sold off everything - including the kitchen sink - to former patrons and other interested parties.Byoreks Knotty Pine in Hazle Township, Pennsylvania, held a clear-out auction after closing its doors, with work tables, cutlery and fixtures like the kitchen sink all up for sale, standardspeaker.com reported.The website noted that some auction buyers had been particularly attracted to the big-ticket items like the refrigerators and grills.Even an illuminated menu with a handwritten todays special of barbecue, chicken noodle soup and rice pudding was on the auction block, as were a milkshake mixer, television set and the tongue-and-groove knotty pine panelling, it added.News of the auction comes after master contractor and plumber Ed Del Grande, who hosts TV shows on Scripps Networks and HGTVPro.com, argued recently that where kitchens are regularly used for entertaining guests, having a second kitchen sink - also known as a bar sink or entertainment sink - can prove extremely useful.
