The kitchen of a celebrity design team features two separate islands devoted to different functions, it has been revealed.A reporter from the Vancouver Sun took a tour around the Glasgow home of Colin McAllister and Justin Ryan the co-hosts of design TV show Colin and Justins Home Heist.According to the report, the design team who are also in a civil partnership opted for both a wet kitchen island for their dishwasher and kitchen sink as well as a dry island for food preparation and an indoor barbecue.The kitchen was reported to be a huge 600 sq ft in total with five cookers including a steam oven by Miele, which uses a water cartridge to cook food on a series of trays inside. Its a really healthy way to cook and you dont get any food transference, said Mr McAllister. Its just incredible.Meanwhile, interior design expert Frank Turco told QMI Agency this week that the perfect recipe for todays kitchens is two parts function and one part style.
