Pull-out kitchen taps are trending this year in the kitchen design world. Kitchen designers are increasingly opting for pull-out taps in 2012, as opposed to the standard type of tap with a detached side spray. Pull-out taps (known as faucets in the United States) integrate two functions into a single unit and can be easily included in almost any kitchen style. The use of pull-out taps increased from 88 percent to 93 percent in the past 12 months. A total of 14 of out every 15 kitchen designers who designed a kitchen in the last three months of 2011 opted for a pull-out tap.
