Posted by Sinks on 27th Jun 2017

Homeowners now have access to a wide range of vintage accessories for use in their interior designs, a commentator has said.Ed Biado, a writer for the Manila Standard Today, made the observation as part of his top design trends for 2010. He said that unique, vintage items can add character to a room, particularly when they are not in perfect condition. The supply of these items are overwhelming at thrift stores and antique shops that even younger homeowners can have an aged item without waiting for the family heirlooms to be passed down, he said.Elsewhere, Mr Biado suggested that open floor plans are becoming increasingly popular in kitchen design as homeowners seek to optimise space for entertaining. He added that interior designers are increasingly aware of their clients desire to have more than one concept incorporated into a room.Writing for Freep.com, Neil Wertheimer, editor-in-chief of Fresh Home magazine, recently suggested that in order to cater for their specialist food and drink interests, kitchen owners are now creating separate work zones in kitchen sink areas and other spaces.ADNFCR-1321-ID-19565283-ADNFCR
