Use kitchen tap water to save money

Posted by Sinks on 27th Jun 2017

Drinking water from the kitchen tap can protect the environment and help families save money, it has been suggested. Diane MacEachern - author of Big Green Purse Use Your Spending Power to Create a Cleaner, Greener World - stated that kitchen tap water is just one place in the kitchen where costs can be cut, the Hartford Courant reports. She remarked Instead of buying bottled water, use tap water, which may actually have to meet higher purity standards than bottled water.According to Ms MacEachern, packaging is expensive and wasteful and individuals should look to reduce their impact on the environment by bulk-buying products to reduce wrapping for individual items. Homeowners were also advised to use a sponge or cleaning cloth rather than purchasing disposable kitchen towels. Writing for the Kansas City Kansan, Lori Wuellner noted that kitchen tap water is often healthier than H20 that is sold in shops.ADNFCR-1321-ID-19328005-ADNFCR
