Undermount kitchen sinks should be installed by an expert because of their specialist features, it has been suggested.Master contractor and plumber Ed Del Grande, who hosts TV shows on Scripps Networks and HGTVPro.com, noted that undermounted sinks are different to other models in that they have thinner flat flanges for the edges that sit flush with the underside of the countertop.He noted that an undermount sink can have a striking appearance by fitting seamlessly with kitchen countertops.However, Mr Del Grande also urged homeowners to hire a licensed and insured contractor with prior experience of undermounted sinks when having one installed.The advice comes after Adrienne Chinn, director of interiors firm Adrienne Chinn Design, noted recently that more and more people are looking to buy innovative ceiling lights, wall lights and floor lights.She observed that coloured bases on table lamps are growing in popularity as an interesting alternative to neutral table lamps.
