The kitchen was once simply a room for preparing food but new designs and changes to the modern day lifestyle mean it is gradually becoming the central hub of the home. Technology is therefore playing an increasingly important role in kitchen deign with many now being built with televisions and digital radios in mind. And it seems that the style of the TV in particular is hugely important to avoid ruining the look of a kitchen, or indeed any room in the home. Anthony Yang, general product manager for LG Electronics says, As interior design becomes increasingly integral to our homes we are also seeing the more prominent role TV design is playing. Design is now critical to consumers when making a purchasing decision - our research shows this and we see it every day on the shop floor.A recent survey by the television manufacturer found that men are now more concerned about the design of their TV and how it looks in the home than women.
