Are you tired of your out-of-date kitchen but dont have the funds for a renovation? There is no need to despair. Check out our three simple suggestions and upgrade your kitchen at low cost. 1. Paint your worktops - Did you know that worktops can be painted? Rust-Oleum sells a relatively cheap kit, at 250, which provides you with all you need, including an instructional DVD. Yes, you will need to put in some work sanding, smoothing and painting your worktops but the results are worth it and will refresh your tired kitchen. 2. Replace your kitchen tap - Replacing your kitchen tap, or even your kitchen sink, can make a noticeable impact on the look of your kitchen and need not cost the earth. 3. Accessorise - If you hate the colour of your kitchen cabinets, either replace the doors and drawers or, if your budget will not stretch to replacement, try and ignore them and perk up your kitchen in other ways. Dont try to coordinate them with anything simply use bright colours to draw your eye away from the colour of your cabinets. There are all sorts of accessories you can introduce into your kitchen, from tea towels and curtains to decorative bowls and teapots.
