Prime minister David Cameron and his wife, Samantha, are planning to refurbish the kitchen at a flat in Downing Street, it has been revealed. An article by Beverley Turner of the Daily Telegraph claimed that the need for a kitchen renovation has been one of the main reasons for the couples delay in moving to the countrys most famous street. She observed that during the recent general election, TV pictures from inside the Camerons North Kensington family home had revealed a glamorous kitchen of shiny oak floor panels and cream bespoke units surrounded by print-walls of black and white family photos. Ms Turner suggested it was therefore no surprise the couple were unwilling to settle for a drab and dated kitchen at their new home in Downing Street. Instead, she speculated on what luxury items the couple might be inclined to add, such as a deluxe Wolf sub-zero fridge or a boiled-water kitchen tap.The PM is surely the only man in the world who cant justify waiting for a kettle to boil, she quipped.Meanwhile, a recent article in the Miami Herald urged people to ensure their kitchens remain functional and practical when attempting a renovation.
