The Observer newspaper has been checking out two new hotels that have opened in British hotels in the past month.Farnborough Airport in Hampshire is now home to the Aviator hotel, designed by Ken McCulloch. According to the newspaper, marble is a feature throughout a luxury design material that many would love to use in their kitchens and bathrooms. Meanwhile, the five-star Sofitel, linked to Heathrows Terminal Five arrivals area by a bridge, also offers glamorous aspects.With interiors designed by Khuan Chew, also responsible for Dubais Burj al Arab, the hotel includes a 3,525 suite with Swarovski crystal taps.Owner Surinder Arora told the newspaper Its not an airport hotel its a five-star luxury hotel which just happens to be at an airport.
