That is the opinion of Mike Heayn, writing for the Santa Monica Daily Press, who noted that in difficult economic conditions it is more important than ever to keep a property appealing. New knobs really add that pop to old cabinets that are still in good condition, he stated, adding that this kind of home improvement is both quick and cost-effective. Another cheap and easy upgrade for kitchen sink areas is painting, Mr Heayn added, as this can do a tremendous amount to affect how a residence looks. While making changes such as this will probably not raise the market value of the house, he explained, it is likely to attract a renter in a shorter amount of time. Earlier this month, the Charlotte Florida Weekly reported comments made by home stager Brenda Smith that the kitchen is the most important room in the house for prospective buyers.
