Posted by Sinks on 27th Jun 2017

Three students from Newport University in Wales are planning to carry a stainless steel kitchen sink across Europe for a charity race.Christian Britten, Richard Starkey and Adam Scott will set off on June 19th for a 2,000-mile race to the Atlas Mountains in an effort to raise 10,000 for the charity Water for Africa, the BBC reported. The trio said they will carry the kitchen sink as a metaphor for the basic water infrastructure that is lacking in Africa. As were studying for a degree in Documentary Film and Television, well be making a film about our trip, added Mr Britten. The students will be able to use any mode of transport they choose as they aim to reach the Atlas Mountains in Morocco within two weeks, but they must all travel together and must carry the kitchen sink with them at all times. In other news, interior designer Jonathan Baron told Cooperator.com last week that many homeowners are now opting to break up extensive kitchen renovation projects into smaller stages as a way of making the costs more manageable.ADNFCR-1321-ID-19814401-ADNFCR
