An interior designer used a stainless steel kitchen sink to ensure continuity in a sleek and stylish renovation project, it has been reported.Jonas Carnemark told Kitchen Bath Design News that the owners of the kitchen wanted a minimal, clean design that would ensure the room was integrated with the homes wider living space.In addition to the sink, therefore, Mr Carnemark added a custom stainless steel countertop, which was laid on top of walnut veneer island cabinetry. The combination of materials found in other elements of the space repeat at the table, which has stainless steel legs and four industrial-style contemporary chairs around it, observed the news provider. Meanwhile, Mr Carnemark also created an additional prep area in a hidden butlers pantry which was used to house a second dishwasher, kitchen sink and icemaker.Last week, interior designer Rosemary Sadez Friedmann wrote for the Seattle Times that homeowners can make their kitchens more functional and easy to use by installing pull-out shelves in favour of cabinets.
