Everybody wants [kitchens] to be so much more attractive to look at, he remarked. Despite this, many homeowners still prefer to have most of their appliances hidden away from view to create a more minimalist approach, Mr Fisher added. According to the expert, other trendy features currently interesting individuals considering an upgrade to their cooking areas include marble-topped kitchen islands and new backsplashes. Tile work has almost become artwork, he explained. People were also advised that bringing in a professional could enable families to make the right decisions when picking new features for their kitchen sink areas. Designer Raji Radhakrishnan last month told a Washington Post reader to consider stainless steel countertops instead of granite, as they are more useful for cooking tasks.
