A kitchen featuring sports car design was unveiled at a home show at the weekend. Dolce Mano showed off an Aston Martin-inspired kitchen at the Fall Home Show in Toronto, according to the Globe and Mail and men and women alike are showing interest. Designer Mike Ford from the company said the leather-upholstered island and motorised cupboard doors and drawers are attracting female homeowners, although the kitchen may have more of an appeal to men. He commented I wanted to capture the feeling and quality of a luxury automobile in a kitchen.Through materials, colour and style, I think that we were able to capture the sleek and timeless appeal [of an Aston Martin].Mr Ford added men are more likely to be managing a kitchen space, which is now a family hub. For those who want sleek, masculine design in their kitchens, a Kubus KBV611 from Franke sinks features stainless steel merged with hygienic black glass. ADNFCR-1321-ID-18790295-ADNFCR
