Consumer demand and growing trends towards British-made fireclay sinks have prompted Shaws of Darwen to launch a series of new models, extending their Classic, Inset/Undermount Collections and accessories ranges. The Classic Collection features sleek, contemporary styling and involves traditional handcrafted methods to produce this timeless range of authentic, quality sinks. Each of the new sinks in these range extensions are produced by hand and have a durable glaze designed for years of use. Classic Waterside 800 The new Classic Waterside 800 sink is an impressive fireclay sink measuring a spacious 760x530x255 which is 40mm deeper than the original 600 model. The Waterside has a practical single bowl with a classic curved bow front and a round overflow and central 3 inch waste outlet for a basket strainer or waste disposer. Classic Inset/Undermount The collection of Inset and Undermount sinks are ideal for use in a kitchen island and are designed to suit a more modern kitchen environment. New Classic 800 Inset/Undermount sink This latest model is a rectangular 800mm single bowl fireclay sink with round overflow and 3 inch waste. It is one of the largest inset/undermount sinks on the market and is ideal for everyday use as well as for a secondary sink. Acessories The Shaws Accessories range now has the benefit of a hygienic fireclay Splashback to protect the wall behind the sink. The Splashback is easy to install alongside wall tiles, with sizes matching the Shaws sinks. Another practical addition is a range of attractive, hand-made stainless steel sink grids designed to offer ultimate protection for the sink. The grids are ingeniously designed to give access to the basket waste. More accessories will be launched later in the year.
