Selling homes requires a pro-active approach

Those looking to sell their homes are becoming frustrated as the market stagnates, according to one property expert.Property website Rightmove has claimed that a pro-active approach is required to avoid properties sitting on the market and suffering from a lack of interest.Miles Shipside, commercial director for Rightmove, said A lot of people arent in any particular financial pressure to sell at the moment.I think they will hang around, but then they get disillusioned and then they lose motivation and then the property becomes stale and the seller becomes stalethey need to be a bit more proactive to sell.Recent research conducted by Tickbox for Lloyds said that 73 per cent of Londoners thought that a new kitchen was the number one factor in making a kitchen more saleable.Furthermore, 50 per cent of estate agents found that a rising number of homeowners were taking their properties off the market to make improvements.
