PC users who are worried about the bacteria that collects on their peripherals or those that want to type away in the kitchen have been boost by news that the worlds first wireless, submersible, dishwasher-safe keyboards and mice have been released.Seal Shield unveiled its innovative Silver Surf range at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas this month.The company claims that its product can be washed in Franke kitchen sinks or even dishwashers, meaning the spread of germs via the PC can be halted.Gadget lovers will also be delighted to hear that the Silver Surf keyboards optional touchpad can be used underwater.The new Silver Surf family of consumer products is manufactured with the same medical grade, infection control technologies used in hospitals worldwide, Seal Shield chief executive Brad Whitchurch.The wireless design is ideal for the home or office, but the unique waterproof capabilities make the Silver Surf keyboards and mice the only choice for less traditional locations including the kitchen, bath, pool or spa.
