A stylish country home in Scotland has made an open-plan kitchen and living area one of its defining features.Homeowners Norman and Tina MacGeoch showed the Press and Journal around the property in Cairngorms National Park, which stands alone in an elevated position, offering panaromic views of the surrounding area.To make the most of its location, the home features expansive, open-plan areas and glass doors.In the kitchen, meanwhile, Mr MacGeoch noted that an open design was particularly suited to the couples passion for entertaining and communal gatherings. We wanted to create an open space where the children and guests were together, so that the problem of someone being stuck in the kitchen while everyone else enjoyed themselves never arises, he said.The news provider observed that the kitchen incorporates sleek lines and gleaming white units in the food preparation and kitchen sink areas.
