A luxurious home furnishings company has said that raw, earthy design styles will dominate kitchen renovation in 2010.Decorating Den Interiors explained that in developing a kitchen area for a professional couple they were able to use existing whitewashed barn wood flooring as a perfect starting point for the new design.The company said that the rustic simplicity of the farm would return next year as a revitalized eco-friendly scheme replaced the tired country look of the past.The earthy woven wood blinds and the vintage chandelier compliment this theme, it said of the couples new kitchen.It added that a blue hue used on the walls had added to the sense of closeness with nature and created serenity in and around the kitchen sink area.Interior designers Denna McLaughlin and Celeste Le Sage-Gish recently told Sfgate.com that an increasing number of their customers were concerned about being eco-friendly when it came to kitchen design.
