Robert Welch designs is celebrating its after providing cutlery for homeowners sink accessories for 50 years. The company was initially launched by Robert Welch in 1961 and it is now under the control of his son and daughter, Rupert and Alice, who now manage a small selection of designers in Chipping Campden, reports Housewarelive.net. Commenting on the anniversary, Rupert Welsh told the website Weve overseen many changes over the past decades. But throughout weve tried to maintain my fathers original design ethos of pursuing excellence and innovative vision together with integrity of function and value for money for customers. Some of the most celebrated features produced by the company include its Prestige kitchen utensils as well as its range of lighting products. The World Interior Design Network recently reported that Alternative Plans has created a new kitchen for chef Jason Atherton. This new kitchen now features in Mr Athertons Pollen Street Social restaurant.
