Residents taking more control over interior design

Posted by Sinks on 27th Jun 2017

British homeowners are now becoming more involved in interior design than they have been in the past, an expert believes. More people may also be changing the way their sink accessories are installed, as many individuals are now choosing to have their lounge, kitchen and fireplace in one open-plan room, a representative from Shorplans Architectural Services has emphasised. Carl Shorter, director of the organisation, said Theyre watching these programmes like 60 Minute Makeover and getting ideas from that. Usually a client knows more or less what they want in terms of interior design. People are bringing more light into their homes now as well, so open-plan does that. Mr Shorters remarks follow advice from Build It Magazine, which said that home improvements are an effective way of attracting buyers in the current market. The publication advised that investing in a home can be highly profitable.ADNFCR-1321-ID-800558133-ADNFCR
