Reflective surfaces add glamour to kitchens, experts say

Interior designs that use reflective surfaces are becoming increasingly popular in kitchens, a new report has said.In speaking to a range of design experts, QMI Agency found that reflective surfaces, luxurious fabrics and black and white contrasts are now taking off as popular trends as homeowners search for looks of understated elegance.The report said that stainless steel kitchen sinks and other appliances were popular for achieving such an effect while glass tile kitchen sink backsplashes were also described as effective for creating subtle reflections.It was suggested that chandeliers are now returning to popularity, with one design expert advising homeowners to place them above kitchen islands in order to add bling to the room.When times are a bit more glum, people want some sparkle, Jennifer Teeple, owner of Red Razberry Design Group, told the news provider.
