Finding ways to reuse waste materials in the kitchen can not only be cost-effective, but can also be fun. That is according to one expert in the state of Utah, who is working alongside environmental and recycling groups to promote the innovative use of what would otherwise be waste within the kitchen. Bill Cordray of the Salt Lake City-based Teerlink revealed that he often mixes and matches table tops and legs to get his perfect design, with much of the material available for free or relatively low cost. Speaking ahead of a Green Kitchen Remodelling Workshop, to be held by Recycle Utah, Mr Corday stated Everyone wants to know how to design the most efficient, beautiful kitchen, and now a little knowledge about green elements can make your kitchen remodel healthier and more cost effective. In an interview with the Park City Record, he added that a good knowledge of sustainable materials and potential toxins is recommended for anyone looking to revamp their kitchen on the cheap while simultaneously doing their bit for the environment. At the end of last month, designer Warner McConaughey advised that homeowners should have a plan of action in place before started kitchen design work.
