Police install CCTV to catch sud-shy coppers

Chiefs in a Brighton Police station have taken an unusual step to rid their staff kitchen of a most infuriating scourge.A CCTV camera has been installed over the kitchen sink at the John Street station in the seaside city in an effort to catch culprits who leave dirty cups and plates unwashed, before fleeing the scene of the crime. It is also hoped the move will stop the spread of other domestic misdemeanours, such as leaving litter around rather than putting it in the bin and general untidy and unkempt behaviour.Chief Superintendent Graham Bartlett backed up the decision, saying Eight hundred divisional police officers and staff have access to a new kitchen and rest room facility at Brighton police station.Unfortunately a small minority of people have been misusing the facilities, which were provided by public money.Washing up may be a chore but the right choice of kitchen sink can make such tasks a lot quicker and easier, such as one of the many models in the range from Abode.
