Poggenpohl has opened a new showroom at Harrods in London, making it the exclusive kitchen supplier to the high-end department store.The East Westphalian Hertford kitchen manufacturer reports that the high point of the ceremony, which was attended by store owner Mohamed Al Fayed, was the presentation of the Porsche Design kitchen P7340.Six kitchens will be displayed by the company in 250 square metres of floor space and a working environment will also be on show for live demonstrations.Mr Al Fayed complimented the firms range, saying it offered unique design and outstanding service which made it a valuable addition to the range of products on sale at Harrods, the company asserts.Elmar Duffner, managing director of Poggenpohl Mobelwerke GmbH, said at the ceremony Cooperation between Harrods and Poggenpohl is the perfect combination of two internationally distinguished luxury brands that represent the last word in product quality and exceptional service the world over.Mr Duffner added that the company was bolstering its presence in the UK due to a high density of wealthy consumers in London.
