People gravitate to kitchen

The kitchen has been described as a room in which people gravitate to in order to gain peace, relaxation and composure.Susan Schwartz of the Canwest News Service suggested that the kitchen is the hub of the house, regardless of what kitchen design is chosen. She told the Windsor Star that she usually heads to the room to complete puzzles and make plans, as well as prepare food and drink. For anyone with a modicum of confidence in his or her culinary skills, the kitchen might well be the only place where we feel a measure of control. Matters little how the place is equipped, she stated. The walls are a cheery apple green and it is the room to which we gravitate - for meals and snacks, but also to read the paper and do Sudoku puzzles, to make lists and plans, to talk and laugh. However, green expert Andy Stern of Property Secrets has claimed that people are becoming far more careful about kitchen design.
