Newspaper honours grandmothers in the kitchen

A leading Canadian newspaper has compiled some of the favourite memories and recipes from the nations grandmothers for a new kitchen project.The Calgary Herald has sought out the best and most cherished pieces of culinary heritage from homes all over the country as part of a cookbook contest.It reports that its first winner is Marilyn Kennedy, who spoke lovingly of the memories and advice her grandma Anna passed on to her.
