A new hi-tech decorating system has been unveiled that could revolutionise they way people renovate kitchens.Italy-based company Levitiles showcased its brand new decorated crystal technology - named Venezia Arte - at the Big 5 2010 building and construction show in Dubai this week.The technology is described as an extremely high-resolution cold decoration system, which uses an exclusive inkjet printing system to deliver colour and decorative effects and a finished product with unique technical characteristics and performance.The addition of precious metals such as gold, silver and platinum assures an original metallic appearance, added the event organisers. Together with the transparency of the glass, this gives the installed material an appealing opalescent look in both the smooth and textured versions.Such advanced technology could add to the decorative effects in food prep and kitchen sink areas. Other exhibited technologies at the show included the new FL650 Floor Rollforming Line from FrameCAD Solutions which is used in the production of optimised engineered fast track flooring systems.
