Multi-coloured kitchen cabinets can pop

Posted by Sinks on 27th Jun 2017

Using different colours for kitchen cabinets can help to infuse cooking areas with more depth, one expert has claimed. Interior designer Dan Menchions stated that using a whiter shade for the uppers and a darker driftwood tone for the lower furnishings can have a real impact, the National Post reports. The news provider quoted Mr Menchions as saying that the deeper colours flow into the floor allowing higher cabinets to pop. This technique can be used in other areas of the house, he remarked, adding that these features become not only a functional piece, but a piece of art.Property owners with an open-plan kitchen and dining room were advised to introduce a modern light fixture above the table to anchor the space. Home improvement website Angies List recently recommended refacing cabinets to Denver Post readers looking for a less pricey alternative to buying new hardware in their kitchen sink areas.ADNFCR-1321-ID-19427045-ADNFCR
