In the kitchen one of Mrs Selfs favourite rooms in the house there are stained glass windows, a granite-topped island, a brick stove surround and a Victorian cast-iron fireback.As for the sink, the owners chose a farmhouse design with copper taps. This is exactly the home we wanted, Mrs Self said. A sink can be a great place to start when going for a modern Victorian kitchen.
