Property owners looking to update their kitchen furniture should consider clashing styles and colours, one expert has suggested. Sally Morse, director of creative services for window cover manufacturer Hunter Douglas, noted that individuals can often be too matchy-matchy with the items in their home. She remarked The case goods, coffee tables, floors and wood blinds in the kitchen can have different hues. Too much of the same thing is boring.Another important thing to bear in mind, Ms Morse added, is that kitchen furniture should be the correct size and dimensions for the room in which it is going to be used. People were also advised to personalise spaces, by exhibiting any hobbies they have in a unique way. This contrasts with recent recommendations given by the Times. The news source quoted that people considering purchasing a house can often be put off by kitchens that express too much of a homeowners traits.
