LivingKitchen exhibition welcomes natural trends

Posted by Sinks on 27th Jun 2017

One of the highlights of the year for the international kitchen sector was the LivingKitchen exhibition at imm Cologne. Big names from all sections of the kitchen industry were represented with more than 185 suppliers from 22 countries taking part. Since its launch in 2011, LivingKitchen has rapidly become a mature event. Impressive kitchen furniture displays were influenced by nature, with timber being a key theme. This natural theme was complemented by judicious splashes of bold colour, from bright red and orange through to yellows and pink. Designers could take away inspiration from the latest decors with exhibitors creations showcasing best practice in kitchen planning and design. However, kitchens have a practical purpose as well as being the hub of the modern home. The focus this year was on induction hobs, steam ovens, hot water taps and a soon to be launched 9,000 coffee tap, which is controlled by an iphone app.
