A top young London chef is auctioning off his services in the kitchen this Christmas.David Duverger, head chef of Londons renowned Papillon restaurant, is offering to cook a gourmet Christmas lunch for the highest bidder on the eBay auction site. The offer is to raise money for Children with Leukaemia, a charity very close to the chefs heart.Seven years ago, I lost my three-year-old nephew to cancer, Duverger told the Telegraph.Hopefully, I can offer the highest bidder and their guests the best Christmas dinner of their lives. After the bidding closes, 32-year-old Duverger will cook a luxurious four-course spread including braised turbot and truffle-stuffed chicken at the home of the lucky winner at 1300 on December 25th.Preparing a big Christmas meal for your nearest and dearest can produce plenty of waste. However, the ecological impact of the special day can be reduced by using a food waste disposer such as the In-Sink-Erator, which grinds organic matter down to a manageable level for the kitchen plumbing.
