A major design event in London is set to take place next month and kitchen design is set to feature prominently.Grand Designs Live will commence at the ExCel Centre in Londons Docklands on April 25th, running until May 4th.It will feature more than 500 exhibitors as well as separate shows to cater for six separate sections.One of these is for kitchens, which is called Grand Kitchens. It features the sleekest kitchen designs as well as state-of-the-art technology, to provide tips and inspiration for visitors.In addition, celebrities will be in the kitchens to provide live cookery demonstrations, plus special masterclasses in mixology.A house of the future is another new feature of the show, which will include a kitchen that draws on cutting edge themes for those looking for something really out of the ordinary.Grand Designs Live is based upon the popular TV show Grand Designs, which is presented by design guru Kevin McCloud.
