Written .More bespoke kitchen designers are opting to use curves in their plans, it has been claimed.While stark minimalism has been used in recent years, sharp lines are now giving way to softer, rounder lines, Kitchens, Bedrooms and Bathrooms magazine asserted.Curves are being used to make the kitchen design more sensuous, tactile and inviting, the publication claimed.Blending curves across the design of a kitchen can help to invite people into the space - and keep them there - designer Simon Bray told the magazine.Aside from the introduction of curves, consumers who choose a bespoke kitchen are also now increasingly moving towards using a mix of materials, it added, noting that a tradition for one wood or painted finish is no longer the only way to go.Features such as the kitchen sink need not be a traditional rectangular shape either.
