Kitchen sink features in charity Christmas event

A charitable second-hand store in New Zealand is planning to use a special Christmas sale to show off its huge range of wares - which includes the kitchen sink.Habitat for Humanitys Restore in East Tamaki, which sells everything from old crockery to trailers, caravans and even home fixtures like the kitchen sink, is hosting the special Christmas sales drive from tomorrow (December 15th), stuff.co.nz reported.All the items have been donated and the money raised through sales goes back to Habitat for Humanity, a worldwide charity that helps people into homes.Speaking to the website, the stores operations manager Eric Holmes suggested that the Christmas sale was a good opportunity for people from the local community to get their hands on some affordable, unique and good quality gifts.He added that Restore is always looking for clean, tidy, donations for the shop.Habitat for Humanity runs a home ownership scheme where it builds affordable homes for families in need.ADNFCR-1321-ID-800291004-ADNFCR
