A couple chose to have a wood-burning pizza oven installed in their kitchen to help them reconnect with their Italian ancestry.Tony and Marta Buzzelli, who live in the US, showed the Wall Street Journal around their 1.7 million home at which they oversaw an extensive kitchen renovation.Mr Buzzelli, a regional managing partner at accounting firm Deloitte, confirmed they had spent about 6,800 on the oven, which is encased in a custom-designed, natural stone cylindrical chimney.Meanwhile, Ms Buzzelli said that the aim of the kitchen renovation had been to turn what was originally a tiny, traditional galley-style room into a more open design with large windows to bring in natural light and a consistent palate that included wood beams and pine floors.In other news, it has been reported that Tatton Park in Knutsford, Cheshire will be the setting for the Design Weekend Home and Garden Exhibition this Bank Holiday break (May 1st-3rd).
