Kitchen owners urged to keep making use of garden

Posted by Sinks on 27th Jun 2017

The autumn and winter months are a great time to enjoy the garden, despite the drop in temperatures, it has been argued.Kate Hodge, product manager for woodcare at Ronseal, claimed that even if it gets particularly cold, a chiminea or patio heater can be a good way of staying nice and warm while enjoying the outdoors.Theres nothing nicer than wrapping up warm and getting out into the garden during the winter to enjoy the fresh air and watch the birds and wildlife, she said. The comments come after Ronseal recently urged homeowners to get their properties winter-fit and weather ready ahead of the seasonal change. In a promotional statement, the company advised people carrying out kitchen renovations and other DIY jobs to prepare exterior doors, window frames and cladding to ensure they can withstand the drop in temperatures. Such measures could in turn help to protect vital appliances and fixtures like kitchen sinks and taps. ADNFCR-1321-ID-800122313-ADNFCR
