Kitchen improvement sales on rise despite economy

Posted by Sinks on 27th Jun 2017

Despite the difficult economy, revenue is continuing to rise in the kitchen improvement industry. The National Kitchen Bath Association (NKBA) released the results of the Kitchen Bath Market Report for the third quarter, showing a rise in showroom traffic and an increase in kitchen remodels from one year ago. NKBA executive vice president Bill Darcy said Although optimism seems to be taking a hit, the numbers today from a year ago are encouragingly higher, ranging in increase from 4 to 85 per cent higher on various points. The volatility of the third quarter is balanced by the overall increased consumer traffic, sales volume and remodeling prices in the past year. Showroom visits were up 8 per cent from the previous quarter and 42 per cent from the previous year and kitchen remodel sales volume was up 36 per cent from the previous year.
