Appliances and fixtures should not clutter the space in smaller kitchens, it has been argued.Speaking to yourhome.ca, Tyler Hershberg of Canadian development firm BSaR Group of Companies, said In spaces that are more constrained, you need to make sure that all of your spaces look attractive. Everyone wants open concept, so your kitchen has to fit in as seamlessly as possible. The comments came as Mr Hershberg discussed his companys plans to create a series of townhouses at a stylish 11-storey city condo. He said that the home kitchens would be sleek, stylish and self-contained to match the architecture of the building, which appears as a series of stacked glass cubes from the outside.Weve taken pains to integrate the appliances so you dont see the kitchen, commented Mr Hershberg.Meanwhile, it was reported this week that a touchless kitchen tap has been invented by product designer Jasper Dekker which responds to hand gestures.
