Tatton Park in Knutsford, Cheshire will be the setting for the Design Weekend Home and Garden Exhibition this Bank Holiday break.Held between Saturday 1st May and Monday 3rd May, the event will feature designs and products from businesses across the UK.The show, which began 12 years ago and has grown to become one of the largest of its kind in the north, has continued to attract a wide range of participants and visitors despite the economic downturn.Organiser Joanne Beedles told the Knutsford Guardian I love a challenge and the event is so good, it is a fantastic day out for consumers, it is great for the local economy and companies nationally and regionally. The Design Weekend will offer ideas for every area of the home and garden, as well as a culinary room with a working kitchen.Phil Spencer, host of Channel 4s Location, Location, Location, recently told the Daily Mirror that people looking to update and add value to their homes should replace fittings and fixtures like kitchen taps.
