Kitchen designs can match your personality

Posted by Sinks on 27th Jun 2017

People considering a kitchen renovation are able to select designs that match their personality, it has been argued.Brittny Drye of the Stir blog outlined some common kitchen layouts - noting that each one could suit a different type of person. These included the galley style whereby the kitchen has two straight runs on either side.Ms Drye noted that in such rooms, the kitchen sink will be on one side with the range on the other.Because of its narrow design, this layout is better for those who like to work alone, she said. They appreciate efficiency but tend to tackle projects one-at-a-time, as opposed to multi-tasking.Among the other layouts discussed, Ms Drye claimed that the U-shaped kitchen - which makes the most of the working triangle principle - is best suited to people who like flexibility, enjoy the company of others and do not like being alone.Meanwhile, Andrew Leech, director at the National Home Improvement Council, said recently that UK homeowners will adopt a more positive attitude towards improving their property once the summer is over and uncertainty over the countrys economic and political situation eases.
