The need for convenience continues to drive kitchen design trends, it has been suggested.Writing for Examiner.com, home designer Lindsey Townsend said that creativity and up-to-date technology are increasingly important features in a propertys kitchen.Integrated appliances now come with a number of options to make life that little bit easier for the homeowner - which may include sink waste disposers - and streamlined storage is another popular feature.A continuing demand for the integration of form and function has resulted in everything from commercial gas cooktops to drawer dishwashers to wall mount faucets to multi-temperature food and wine storage, Ms Townsend noted. One kitchen appliance that could speed up time in the kitchen may be a sink waste disposer, although the Jamestown Sun recently reported that they need to be kept clean.Leaving a sink waste disposer out of a kitchen cleaning schedule can result in food particles getting trapped, which is not good for hygiene. The publication advised homeowners to pour a diluted chlorine bleach solution down their sink waste disposer up to twice a week.
