A leading home improvement magazine has featured kitchen appliances from Franke and Perrin Rowe in a stylish new home design blueprint from Hamptons Cottages Gardens magazine.Located in the heart of New Yorks exclusive Hamptons community, a 6,500 square foot house was renovated by architect Steve Semes and kitchen designer Tom Vecchio, of Bilotta Kitchens, with inventive new styles making the kitchen a haven for both cooking and entertaining. In a kitchen of three different countertops employed by Mr Vechhio to make the design more distinctive, appliances from leading kitchen retailer Franke and Perrin Rowe featured prominently.A Franke prep sink installed with Perrin Rowe taps in English bronze finish was put in place for easy access while cooking, while a main Franke sink (also accompanied by Perrin Rowe taps) took its place at the opposite end, next to the coffee-maker.Discussing his innovative and unconventional kitchen design, Mr Vecchio was reported by Kitchen Bath Design News to say The custom, hand-finished mahogany top adds that sophistication that youd find in the Hamptons. The granite adds colour and complements the backsplash and the limestone on the island presents a nice contrast to the mahogany.Combining such localised colour schemes alongside quality kitchen fittings is likely to make the Hamptons Cottages Gardens blueprint a success with locals as well as beyond.
