An interior design company combined classic, French Country themes with modern touches as part of a home rebuilding project.Elizabeth McBride, a homeowner in the US, enlisted the services of Case Design and Remodeling to create her dream kitchen, but quickly saw that good work go to waste when her home burnt down in a fire soon after, the Washington Examiner reported. As Ms McBride set about organising work to rebuild her home, she decided to hire the same design company to recreate the kitchen as closely as possible. While blending the traditional, rustic French stylings with contemporary aspects like chrome and stainless steel fixtures and appliances, the company also installed stark white cabinets and stylish, speckled blue Corian countertops in the food preparation and kitchen sink areas. This time the sky was the limit, Ms McBride said about the design.Meanwhile, interior stylists Charlotte and Peter Fiell recently told the Independent that the driving force behind excellent, functional design is the power it has to solve human problems at all levels.ADNFCR-1321-ID-19736460-ADNFCR
