Kitchen design can open space

A new kitchen design can help to open up space in a kitchen that previously appeared to be cluttered, experts have explained. This can also have the effect of making kitchens more accessible to children and more welcoming in general, according to kitchen designer Rose Bennett Gilbert. She told Bend Weekly that there are ways to have your open space even if the size of the kitchen does not necessarily lend itself to redesign. One way of achieving this is to install a work island on which food can be prepared separately from other activities.Your family and other guests can be in the kitchen with you spiritually, but not actually in your workspace. Thats especially critical when the kitchen is really small, Ms Gilbert said. She has also advocated getting new pieces of kitchen furniture in, which do not need to break the bank.Just plan it out, think it through, she urged, noting that there are many inexpensive options when it comes to changing things round in the kitchen.
