Kitchen cooking still geared towards meat

Although there is a widespread perception in the media that the public are moving towards healthier eating and vegetarian food, that is not the case and the reality is more people are eating meat, Mood Food Magazine has said.Peter Grove, editor of the publication, claimed that the arguments for and against eating meat are often presented too simplistically.The perception one sees from the media in general is that we are endeavouring to move towards more healthier eating - ie the more vegetarian food, he said.But the reality is that is not the case. From our evidence, there seems to be a lot more meat consumption whereas the advice from some [official bodies] is in the other direction.Cooking habits can affect how people use and arrange their appliances and fixtures like kitchen sinks and cookers. According to recent research from the University of British Columbia, vegetarians are seen as more virtuous and less masculine than those who eat meat.
