Homeowners looking to grow their own produce are concentrating on potatoes, tomatoes and kitchen herbs, according to Haxnicks.Damian Cardozo, managing director at the gardening firm, said that tons of people are currently growing their own potatoes, while tomato plants have always been popular with homeowners.The trend could affect the way people cook in their kitchens and use core fixtures like kitchen sinks and cookers.Mr Cardozo added that celebrity chefs, such as Jamie Oliver, have also inspired more people to grow herbs at home.There are a lot of kitchen herbs going on.
